Confident, trustworthy and scalable: Amazon Web Services and Rosette API create partnership

Since Rosette API, our cloud-based text analytics service, launched in April 2016, users and customers have been eager to try it out. However, like any smart API buyer, you might ask: “Can I rely on Rosette to be up 24×7 when our system goes to production?”

The answer is an unreserved YES.

Over the past 20 years, we have built a sterling reputation for industrial-strength text analytics in over 40 languages, provided to our customers via SDKs. However, the demand for text analytics has broadened to include a wider array of industries and businesses. To meet the needs of a changing market we decided to make our Rosette text analytics tools available in the cloud in addition to on-premise.

In keeping with our standard of excellent service, we wanted a trustworthy partner to host Rosette API. For a cloud service, dependable and continuous uptime is just as important as the quality of the tool itself. Selecting a host was a crucial decision; any failure on the provider’s side hurts both our customers and our image.

Luckily, we didn’t have to look far to find a provider who lives up to our standard of high quality: tech giant Amazon. Amazon Web Services, or AWS, is well known to be the leader in highly scalable and stable cloud analytics, gracefully supporting usage spikes without down time. AWS is the best partner for building reliable, fault-tolerant, highly scalable serving platforms.

Rosette API is hosted in Virginia,  and AWS provides facilities, networks, software, and business processes to ensure security. Environments are continuously audited for certifications, and assurance programs help customers prove compliance for the 20+ standards on policies, processes, and controls that AWS establishes and operates.

Many organizations that offer Big Data technology require large server clusters with long provisioning and setup cycles. We wanted to be more efficient. With AWS, we can deploy and scale the infrastructure our customers need almost instantly. This means our service evolves with our customers’ needs.

Every day, your business is producing new data, regardless of how many employees you have or what industry you work in. That data is full of valuable information that can help you better serve your customers, discover new opportunities, and take your business to the next level. But to realize that business value, you need the proper tools to transform that data into actionable insight. The Rosette and AWS partnership allows companies to leverage that data easier than ever before!

So, go ahead and ask us where Rosette API is hosted. We’re proud to answer “AWS.”
